Owner David Stonitsch founded South Florida Emergency Vehicles in 2001 with a simple mission: Provide first responders of Florida with the finest apparatus and service. In the last ten years, SFEV has grown to become one of the top Sutphen dealers in the country. SFEV is also the Florida dealer for KME Fire Apparatus, PL Custom Ambulances, SVI, Fouts Bros, and SFEV Brushtrucks.

David brings to his business a broad range of knowledge about the fire service. David served 20 years as Fire Chief of Camdenton, Missouri. He has been an associate instructor for the University of Missouri Fire Training Institute, and served on the board of the Missouri Association of Fire Chiefs. David was founding partner of Precision Fire Apparatus, a Missouri apparatus manufacturer.

SFEV is located in Fort Myers, Florida and encompasses a 21,000-sq-ft service center, mobile service vehicles, and a knowledgeable sales, service, and parts staff. SFEV stands ready to meet the needs of first responders today and tomorrow.
